Atso

Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Atso for the service at app.atso.ai. By signing in you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to bind that business, and “you” means the business.

1. What Atso does

Atso connects the business platforms you already use — such as Xero, Shopify, Infusion and Unleashed — to an AI assistant such as Claude. You choose which platforms to connect and which assistants may reach them. Atso reads data from those platforms on request and passes it to the assistant you approved. Atso does not create, change or delete anything inside your connected platforms.

2. Your account

Atso is for business use. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, so keeping that mailbox secure is what keeps your account secure. Tell us at support@atso.ai if you think someone else has reached your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Connecting your platforms

When you connect a platform you confirm you are entitled to grant that access, and you authorise Atso to use it on your behalf. Your use of each platform stays governed by your own agreement with that platform; nothing here changes it. You can disconnect a Xero organisation, Shopify store, Infusion company or Unleashed company from the Connectors page, and revoke any connected AI assistant on the Agents page. A successful Xero disconnect removes that connection at Xero. You can also remove Atso from the connected apps in your Xero organisation, or contact support@atso.ai for help.

4. AI output

Answers you get from an AI assistant are generated by that assistant, not by Atso, and they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Atso is a way to reach your data, not accounting, tax, financial or legal advice. Check anything important against the source system before you rely on it, and before you act on it, file it or share it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • connect an account you are not authorised to use, or use Atso to reach data you are not entitled to;
  • break the terms of a connected platform, or any law that applies to you;
  • attempt to reach another customer's organisation, data or credentials;
  • probe, scan or overload the service, or work around its limits; or
  • resell or provide the service to a third party without our written agreement.

We may suspend an account that does any of this, and will tell you why where we can.

6. Availability and early access

Atso is early software and is offered as it stands. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that features will stay the same, or that a connected platform will keep working the way it does today. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the service, we will email account holders.

7. Fees

Atso is free during early access. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before charging for an account, and you may close your account before any charge begins.

8. Your data and ours

Your data stays yours. You give us permission to access, transmit and briefly cache it only so far as it takes to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your business data to train AI models. The Atso software, brand and interface stay ours.

9. Confidentiality

We treat your business data as confidential. We only disclose it to the AI assistants you have connected, to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, or where the law requires it.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Atso is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue or lost or corrupted data. Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and NZ$100.

You acquire Atso for the purposes of a business, so the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, and you agree that section 43(2) of that Act applies to this agreement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Atso and close your account at any time by emailing support@atso.ai. We may end or suspend your account if you breach these terms, or on 30 days' notice for any other reason. When an account closes we delete its data as set out in the Privacy Policy. Sections 8, 9, 10 and 13 survive.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will email account holders before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Atso after that date means you accept the new version.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before starting a proceeding, please contact us so we can try to settle it directly.
